Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for One Pot Pasta with Chicken Recipe

  • Chicken mince 200 grams

  • Pasta farfalle, boiled 1 cup

  • Olive oil 2 tablespoons

  • Garlic chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Onion finely chopped 1 medium

  • Carrot cut into ½ cm small cubes 1 medium

  • Red capsicum cut into small pieces ½ medium

  • Green capsicum cut into small pieces ½ medium

  • Yellow capsicum cut into small pieces ½ medium

  • Dried oregano 1 teaspoon

  • Chicken stock 3 cups

  • Tomato ketchup 2 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a small non-stick deep pan. Add ½ tablespoon garlic and sauté till golden. Add chicken mince, salt and crushed peppercorns, mix and cook till chicken is done. Transfer into a bowl.

Step 2

Heat remaining olive oil in the same small non-stick deep pan. Add remaining garlic and sauté till golden. Add onion and sauté till translucent.

Step 3

Add carrot, red capsicum, yellow capsicum, green capsicum, salt, crushed peppercorns and dried oregano, mix and cook for 1 minute.

Step 4

Add pasta and mix. Add chicken stock and mix. Cover and cook for 1 minute.

Step 5

Add cooked chicken and tomato ketchup, mix, cover and cook for 1 minute.

Step 6

Serve hot.
