Mushroom Mustard Curry  Recipe

Mushrooms, potatoes and tomatoes tempered with mustard seeds and garlic clovdes.

Mushroom Mustard Curry

  • Mushrooms fried
    200 grams
  • Mustard seeds
    1 tablespoon
  • Garlic
    4 cloves
  • Green chilli
  • Oil
    2 tablespoons
  • Potatoes cut into cubes and fried
    3 medium
  • Tomato chopped
    1 medium
  • Salt
    to taste


Step 1

In a blender blend mustard seeds, garlic cloves and green chiilli with very little water to form a fine paste.

Step 2

Heat oil in a wok. Add the above paste and saute for two minutes. Add the fried potatoes and saute well.

Step 3

Add tomatoes and salt. Cover and cook for five minutes.

Step 4

Add the fried mushrooms and toss well. Add ¼ cup water and mix.

Step 5

Cover and cook for five minutes.

Step 6

Serve hot.
