Ingredients for Gulab Jamun Mousse Recipe

  • Gulab jamuns 12 small

  • Milk chocolate chopped 1/2 cup

  • Cream 1 cup

  • White chocolate chopped 1/2 cup

  • Whipped cream 1 1/2 cups

  • Rose petals Few

  • Candied rose petals (gulkand) 1 tablespoon

  • Rose water 1 teaspoon

  • Pistachios for garnis a few

Method

Step 1

Heat a non-stick pan, add milk chocolate and cream and stir till chocolate melts. Add white chocolate and stir till it melts and all the ingredients blend well. Take care that the mixture does not get too hot.

Step 2

Pass the mixture through a sieve into a clean bowl and keep it in the refrigerator to cool. Put a gulab jamun in each of 6 glass cups.

Step 3

Place the whipped cream in a bowl. Add gulkand. Chop a few rose petals finely and add. Add rose water and the chocolate-cream mixture and mix everything well.

Step 4

Put the mousse over the gulab jamun in each glass and pat the cups lightly so that mousse goes down right to the bottom.

Step 5

Place a gulab jamun on top of the mousse in each glass. Place a few pistachios on one side and a whole rose petal on the other. Chill in the refrigerator till well set and serve chilled.
