Fruit Sevaiyaan Recipe - How to make Fruit Sevaiyaan


Prep Time : 6-10 minutes

Cook time : 16-20 minutes

Serve : 4

  • Canned mixed fruits drained1 cup

  • Vermicelli (sevaiyaan) 150 grams

  • Ghee 2 tablespoons

  • Raisins 2 tablespoons

  • Slivered almonds 1 tablespoon

  • Sugar 1 cup

  • Green cardamom powder a pinch

  • Few strands of saffron

  • Milk 1 1/2 cups


Step 1

Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add raisins and sauté till golden. Add almonds and vermicelli and sauté for 1-2 minutes.

Step 2

Add sugar, green cardamom powder and saffron and sauté till the sugar dissolves.

Step 3

Add milk and cook till the vermicelli becomes soft and the mixture thickens. Switch off the heat.

Step 4

Place ¾ of the canned fruits in a serving plate. Transfer the vermicelli mixture over them. Garnish with the remaining fruits and serve.
