Ingredients list for Dippy Sticks

  • 3/4 cup Cheese Spread
  • Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Cornflour/ corn starch
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/2 medium Onion chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Oregano
  • To Serve
  • 2 medium Carrots cut into fingers
  • 2 medium Cucumbers cut into fingers
  • 2 Bread Sticks cut into 2 inch pieces

Method

  1. Mix the cornflour in one tablespoon of cold milk.
  2. Heat the butter in a non-stick pan, add the onion and sauté for two minutes or till translucent.
  3. Add the remaining milk, cheese spread, cornflour mixture and salt and mix well. Bring it to a boil stirring continuously till smooth and thick.
  4. Sprinkle the red chilli powder and oregano and mix.
  5. Serve the vegetable fingers and bread sticks with the cheesy dip immediately.
