Heat desi ghee in a pressure cooker, add cinnamon, black cardamom, cloves and onions and saute. Grind coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger and buttermilk till smooth.
Add field beans, pigeon pea, split lentils and green gram to the cooker and mix. Add rice and mix. Add sea salt, turmeric powder and spiced buttermilk and mix. Add 3½ cups water and mix.
When the mixture comes to a boil, cover the cooker and cook under pressure till 3-4 whistles are given out. Serve hot.
