Menu: Planning for a tea party with your favourite bunch of people? And equally confused as to go about dishing up that unique, yet simple and easy recipe? 1 packet multigrain bread
1 packet cream cheese
1 bottle crushed black peppercorns
1 bottle olive oil
50 grams basil leaves
1 bottle pasta sauce
1 packet white bread slices
50 grams fresh herbs
1 bottle red chilli flakes
1 bottle Parmesan cheese powder
2 bunch spring onions
100 grams gram flour
For faster preparation
Marinate tomato slices with salt, crushed peppercorns, basil leaves and olive oil for 10-15 minutes. Apply 2 tablespoons cream cheese on each of four bread slices. Cut white bread slices into cubes and pan-fry them till crispy. Put spring onions with greens, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder and salt in a bowl and mix well. Add gram flour and make pakora batter ready.
How to go about
Spread marinated tomato mixture evenly over bread slices. Cover with remaining four slices. Cut into fingers and serve. Sauté garlic along with herbs, pasta sauce, salt, red chilli flakes and make the sauce ready. Slide in the sautéed bread and toss well. Serve hot. Heat oil in a kadai and deep-fry the pakoras till golden and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
