Foods for fussy teens

Menu: Start with a pleasing Chicken Noodle Soup and build up the meal with a zara hatke Beancurd Bhurjee Sandwich. Grand finale with a rich Chocolate Pudding Cake.





Shopping list:


500 grams boneless chicken cubes
300 grams rice noodles
300 gm bean sprouts
300 gms unsweetened chocolate
250 gm silken bean curd
150 gms dark brown sugar
10-12 fresh basil leaves
2 fresh red chillies
1 loaf brown bread
1 bunch spring onion
1 bottle soy sauce
1 bottle fish sauce
1 packet unsweetened cocoa powder


For faster preparation:
Chop vegetables for bhurjee and sauté them. Cool and refrigerate. Boil the chicken with onions in the chicken stock.


How to go about it
Assemble pudding and pop it into the oven. Meanwhile, assemble the soup and let it simmer. Prepare bhurjee by adding the beancurd and assemble sandwiches. As you serve the soup, make the sandwiches. Keep pudding warm.
