  • Semolina (rawa/suji)

  • Carrot , 1/4 inch cubes
    1 medium
  • French beans, 1/4 inch pieces

  • Cauliflower , small flotets

  • Green peas
    1/4 cup
  • Green capsicum, 1/4 inch pieces , seeded
    1 medium
  • Salt
    to taste
  • Oil
    5 tablespoons
  • Mustard seeds
    1/2 teaspoon
  • Whole dry red chillies, broken

  • Split black gram skinless (dhuli urad dal)
    2 teaspoons
  • Curry leaves

  • Green chillies, finely chopped

  • Onion , finely chopped

Method

Step 1


Roast semolina in a dry kadai without browning. Set aside to cool.

Step 2


Boil four cups of water in a deep pan, add little salt and boil carrot, beans, cauliflower and green peas for six to eight minutes or till the vegetables are almost done.

Step 3


Drain and set the vegetables aside.
