Ingredients list for Vegetable Cheese Rolls
- 8 slices Bread
- 1/2 cup Cheeese grated grated
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- to taste Salt
- 2 tablespo Oil
- 1 medium Onion , chopped
- 1/2 cup Green capsicum, chopped
- 1/2 cup Cabbage, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Ginger, chopped
- 2 Green chilli, chopped
Method
- In a bowl, combine grated cheese, coriander leaves and salt. Mix well and set aside.
- Heat two tablespoons oil in a non-stick pan. Add onions and saute till golden.
- Add capsicum, cabbage, ginger and green chillies. Saute till vegetables are soft.
- Take some water in a bowl and dip the bread slices, one at a time, for two to three seconds.
- Squeeze out the excess water pressing between your palms.
- Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture onto each slice and spread evenly. Roll it tightly.
- Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick kadai. Deep fry rolls until crisp and golden.
- Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
