  • Bread 8 slices

  • Cheese grated 1/2 cup

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Onion chopped 1 medium

  • Green capsicum chopped 1/2 cup

  • Cabbage chopped 1/2 cup

  • Ginger chopped 1/2 teaspoon

  • Green chilli chopped 2


Step 1

In a bowl, combine grated cheese, coriander leaves and salt. Mix well and set aside.Heat two tablespoons oil in a non-stick pan. Add onions and saute till golden.Add capsicum, cabbage, ginger and green chillies. Saute till vegetables are soft.

Step 2

Take some water in a bowl and dip the bread slices, one at a time, for two to three seconds. Squeeze out the excess water pressing between your palms.

Step 3

Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture onto each slice and spread evenly. Roll it tightly.Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick kadai. Deep fry rolls until crisp and golden. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
