Three Bean And Tuna Salad

French beans, Red kidney beans (rajma)

  • French beans blanched and chopped
  • Red kidney beans (rajma) soaked overnight and boiled
    1/2 cup
  • White beans soaked overnight and boiled
    1/2 cup
  • Tuna fish (canned) flaked
    1 cup
  • Onion sliced
    1 medium
  • Olives
    12 for garnishing
  • For dressing
  • English mustard paste
    1 teaspoon
  • Balsamic vinegar
    2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil
    1 tablespoon
  • Tomato puree
    1 tablespoon
  • Garlic crushed
    2 cloves
  • Parsley chopped
    2 tablespoons
  • Dried oregano
    a pinch
  • Black peppercorns crushed
    1 teaspoon


Step 1

In a bowl combine together French beans, kidney beans, white kidney beans, tuna and onion.

Step 2

In another bowl mix together English mustard, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, tomato puree, garlic, parsley, oregano and peppercorns. Pour this over the bean and tuna mixture.

Step 3

Toss lightly and serve garnished with olives.
