Sweet Potato Chutney

Sweet potato, Green chillies

  • Sweet potato boiled and peeled
    1 large
  • Green chillies
  • Ginger
    1/2 inch piece
  • Cumin seeds
    1 teaspoon
  • Salt
    to taste
  • Jaggery (gur)
    2 tablespoons
  • Tamarind pulp
    2 teaspoons
  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped
    1 tablespoon


Step 1

Pound the green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds, salt and boiled sweet potato in a mortar. Add a little water, jaggery and tamarind pulp and pound some more.

Step 2

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with matlo undhiyo.
