Ingredients list for Sweet And Sour Prawns (Parsi Style)

  • 1 teaspoon Prawns
  • 16 Honey shelled and deveined
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Tamarind paste
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 6-8 Garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 1 inch piece Ginger finely chopped
  • 2 Green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1-2 teaspoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non stick kadai. Add garlic and ginger and sauté till fragrant.
  2. Add green chillies and sauté till fragrant.
  3. Add tamarind paste, red chilli powder and salt and mix well. Add vinegar and mix well.
  4. Add the prawns and cook on a high heat.
  5. Add honey and coriander leaves and mix well.
  6. Transfer in a serving plate and serve hot.
