Spinach and Chickpeas in Broth Boiled chickpeas and spinach cooked in chicken broth, seasoned and served sprinkle with parmesan cheese By Sanjeev Kapoor 10 Nov 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Spinach, Chickpeas Cuisine Fusion Course Soups Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Spinach and Chickpeas in Broth 1 bunch Spinach chopped 2 cups Chickpeas boiled 1 tablespoon Olive oil 1 teaspoon Garlic chopped cloves 2 cups Chicken stock to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder Parmesan cheese grated Method Heat oil in a non stick pan add garlic and saute for a minute. Add chick peas, chicken stock, salt and black pepper powder and saute for a minute. Let it simmer for five minutes. Add spinach and cook for another five minutes.
