Butter two oven trays. Peel, wash, wipe dry and chop garlic finely. Chop frozen butter finely. Beat egg lightly. Mix flour, spices and butter until fine and crumbly. Add egg and cheese and mix until ingredients are just combined. Hand knead dough for approximately one minute or until smooth. Shape dough into a ball, cover in plastic and refrigerate for twenty minutes. Roll dough to three-millimeter thickness on a lightly floured surface. Cut into shapes approximately six centimeter in size. Place on baking trays allowing room for spreading and bake in the preheated oven for twelve minutes or until crisp. Cool before serving.
