Ingredients for Spicy Breakfast Cereal Mix Recipe

  • Honey Cornflakes 1/2 cup

  • Broken Pretzels 1/2 cup

  • Broken Pretzels 1/2 cup

  • Broken chocolate coated rice crisps 1/2 cup

  • Butter 3 tablespoons

  • Salt 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Crushed roasted cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon

  • Oregano 1/2 teaspoon

  • Garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Powdered sugar 1/4 teaspoon

  • Tabasco sauce 1 teaspoon

  • Asian chilli sauce 2 tablespoons

  • Worcestershire sauce 4 teaspoons


Step 1

Preheat oven to 200°C/ 400 °F. Combine honey crisps, cornflakes, broken pretzels and chocolate rice crisps in a bowl.

Step 2

Melt butter in a bowl in microwave oven. Mix together salt, crushed cumin seeds, oregano, garlic powder and powdered sugar in another bowl.

Step 3

Add Tabasco sauce, Asian chilli sauce and Worcestershire sauce to the melted butter and mix.

Step 4

Add the dry powder mixture and mix well. Add half of this mixture to the cereal mixture and mix well.

Step 5

Spread this mixture on a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes.

Step 6

Take the tray out of the oven and transfer the mixture into a bowl to cool slightly. Serve when it reaches room temperature.
