  • Flat noodles 200 grams

  • Spring onions sliced3

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • French beans julienne 6

  • Carrot julienne 1 medium

  • Cabbage shredded 1/2 medium a few leaves

  • Salt to taste

  • Chilli sauce 2 tablespoons

  • Soy sauce 2 teaspoons

  • Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • MSG a pinch

  • Cornflour/ corn starch 1/2 tablespoon

  • Green capsicum deseeded and cut into julienne 1 medium

  • Vinegar 1 tablespoon


Step 1

Heat the sizzler plate. Boil flat noodles till al dante. Drain and refresh in cold water. Heat oil in a wok. Add spring onion, French beans, carrot and stir.

Step 2

Add cabbage, flat noodles, salt, chilli sauce, soy sauce and toss. Add pepper powder and MSG. Dissolve cornstarch in four tablespoons of water.

Step 3

Toss noodles with two spoons. Add a little water, capsicum and the dissolved cornstarch. Mix. Put the hot sizzler plate on its wooden base.

Step 4

Put moist noodles onto the hot plate. Sprinkle some vinegar on it and serve immediately.
