Ingredients for Shakkarkandi aur Kiwi Chaat Recipe

  • Sweet potatoes boiled and peeled 2

  • Kiwi 3

  • Ginger 1/2 inch

  • Mint leaves 1/2 cup

  • coriander leaves 1/2 cup

  • Black salt (kala namak) 1/2 teaspoon

  • Chaat masala 1 teaspoon

  • Crushed black peppercorns 1/4 teaspoon

  • Coriander seeds roasted and crushed 1 tablespoon

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Salt to taste

  • Cumin seeds,roasted 1 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Roughly chop ginger, green chillies, mint leaves, 1 kiwi and coriander leaves and grind into chutney. Cut sweet potato into small cubes. Peel the remaining kiwi and cut into small cubes. Place both in a bowl.

Step 2

Add black salt, chaat masala, crushed black peppercorns, crushed coriander seeds, ground chutney, lemon juice and salt and mix well and transfer into a serving bowl.

Step 3

Crush the roasted cumin seeds with a rolling pin and sprinkle it over the chaat. Garnish with tomato wedges and serve.
