Ingredients for Pizza Topped Focaccia Recipe

  • Focaccia 8 inch piece

  • Tomato 1 large

  • Mozzarella cheese 200 grams

  • Olive oil as required

  • Tomato paste 3 tablespoons

  • Onion thin strips 1 large

  • Green capsicums cut into thin strips 1 large

  • Green olives pitted 1/2 cup

  • Black olives pitted 1/2 cup


Step 1

Preheat oven to the highest temperature. Halve the focaccia horizontally and place one half on work top. Cut round slices of tomato. Slice mozzarella cheese.

Step 2

To make Tomato Mozzarella salad, arrange the tomato slices and some of the mozzarella slices on a serving platter overlapping each other. Drizzle a little olive oil and serve. To make the pizza, spread half the tomato paste on a focaccia half.

Step 3

Arrange half the slightly crushed onion slices over it, top it with half the red and green capsicum strips, half green and black olives. Sprinkle a little salt and arrange half the remaining mozzarella slices.

Step 4

Drizzle a little olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for 7-8 minutes. Similarly make the second pizza. Cut into wedges and serve hot.
