This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 27 Jul 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Pineapple, Semolina Cuisine Indian Course Desserts Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Pineapple Halwa 1 medium Pineapple peeled 1 1/2 cups Semolina A few saffron strands 4 tablespoons Ghee 1 cup Semolina (rawa/suji) 1 tbsp + for garnishing Almonds finely chopped 1/4 cup Khoya/mawa Method Heat a non-stick pan, add sugar and water enough to soak the sugar. Cook stirring continuously tills the sugar dissolves. Remove stem of the pineapple, cut it into small pieces and add to the pan. Add saffron and cook on low heat. Heat ghee in another non-stick pan. Add semolina and sauté on medium heat till light golden. Add almonds and cooked pineapple along with the sugar syrup and mix well. Cook till semolina is cooked. Add khoya and sauté for 2 minutes. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with almonds and serve.
