This is one grain that is about 98% percent digestible. In India we are familiar with Basmati, Patna or brown rice but it is also available as Italian Rice and Glutinous Rice which is popular in Chinese and Japanese cuisines.

  • Rice boiled2 cups

  • Onion chopped1 medium

  • Olive oil 2 tablespoons

  • Carrot cut into thin strips1/2 medium

  • Green capsicum deseeded & chopped1 medium

  • Red capsicum deseeded & chopped1/2 medium

  • Yellow capsicum deseeded & chopped1/2 medium

  • Tomato chopped1 medium

  • Soy sauce 1 tablespoon

  • Chilli sauce 1 teaspoon

  • Spring onion greens chopped2 stalks

  • Salt to taste


Step 1

Heat olive oil in a pan. Add onion, carrot, green, red and yellow capsicums, tomato, soy sauce, chilli sauce and mix. Add boiled rice and mix. Add spring onion leaves and salt and toss to mix well. Serve immediately.
