Ingredients for Palak Paneer Sandwich Recipe

  • Brown bread slices 8

  • Spinach leaves shredded and blanched medium bunches

  • Paneer (cottage cheese) grated 200

  • Butter 1 tablespo

  • Garlic chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Green chillies chopped 2-3

  • Onions chopped 2 medium

  • Chaat masala 1 teaspoon

  • Sweet chilli sauce as required

Method

Step 1

Heat butter in a non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté for one minute.

Step 2

Add green chillies and onions, mix and sauté for one minute.

Step 3

Add spinach and sauté for one minute. Add cottage cheese, mix well and cook for two minutes.

Step 4

Add chaat masala and mix well. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 5

Apply some butter on four bread slices, spread the cottage cheese mixture over them evenly. Cover with the remaining four bread slices and apply some butter on top of them.

Step 6

Heat a griller. Place the sandwiches on it and grill till evenly golden and crisp on both sides.

Step 7

Cut into triangles and serve hot with sweet chilli sauce.
