Ingredients for Nutty Waffles Recipe

  • Refined Flour 1 cup

  • Milk chopped 1/4 cup

  • Baking powder 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Eggs 1 1/2

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) 2 tablespoons

  • Milk 3/4 cup

  • Butter 7 tablespoons

  • Salt 1/4 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Heat waffle iron. Sieve refined flour and baking power together. Break eggs into a bowl and whisk well. Add castor sugar and the sieved flour and mix well.

Step 2

Add milk and continue to mix. Melt five tablespoons of butter and add it to the batter along with the chopped pistachios. Mix well.

Step 3

Grease the waffle iron with a little of the remaining butter, pour a ladleful of batter and cook till golden and crisp on both the sides. Serve hot with honey or maple syrup.
