Ingredients list for Mozza Pita-Calzone

  • 4 Pita bread cut
  • 150 grams Mozzarella cheese grated
  • 4 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 2 medium Onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup Tomato concasse
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried mixed herbs
  • 1 Jalapeno chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 3-4 Black peppercorns
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil grated

Method

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan. Add garlic and sauté for one minute.
  2. Add onions and continue to sauté till translucent.
  3. Stir in tomato concasse and cook till well blended.
  4. Add chilli flakes, herbs, jalapeño chilli, salt and peppercorns.
  5. Add mozarella cheese and mix well.
  6. Stuff the mixture in the pita breads and serve hot.
