Ingredients for Morru Recipe

  • Yogurt 300 millilitres

  • Cumin Seeds 600 millilitres

  • Oil 2 teaspoons

  • Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon

  • Asafoetida a pinch

  • Turmeric powder a pinch

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh coriander leaves a few

Preparation

Step 1


Dilute the yogurt with the water and mix well. Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the cumin seeds. When they crackle add the asafoetida, turmeric, salt and coriander leaves.

Step 2


Sauté for a minute. Pour the mixture into the buttermilk and chill before serving.
