Moong Dal Seero


  • Split green gram skinless (dhuli moong dal),soaked - See more at: http://www.sanjeevkapoor.com/moong
    1 cup
  • Pure ghee
    1/2 cup
  • Milk
    5 cup
  • Green cardamom powder
    1 teaspoon
  • Almonds sliced


Step 1

Drain the water and grind the dal coarsely with little water. Heat ghee in a heavy bottom vessel and sauté the dal till it turns golden brown in colour.

Step 2

Add milk and green cardamom powder and cook till the milk dries up. Add sugar and cook till sugar gets dissolved. Garnish with sliced almonds.
