Ingredients for Masala Fish

  • Fish fillets cut into 2 inch pieces 4

  • Onion finely chopped 1 small

  • Garlic crushed 3 cloves

  • Ginger grated 1 inch piece

  • Curry powder 2 teaspoon

  • Paprika powder 1 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Hung yogurt 1/2 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Lemons cut into wedges 2

Method

Step 1

Mix together onion, garlic, ginger, curry powder, paprika powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, hung yogurt and salt in a bowl.

Step 2

Add the fish and mix well so all the pieces are well coated with the mixture. Cover and set aside for thirty minutes. Thread fish pieces and lemon wedges alternately onto skewers.

Step 3

Heat the Grill Pan, place the skewers in it and cook, rotating the skewers a few times, for eight minutes or till evenly done all over. Serve hot with salad and bread.

How to make Masala Fish

Step 1

Mix together onion, garlic, ginger, curry powder, paprika powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, hung yogurt and salt in a bowl.

Step 2

Add the fish and mix well so all the pieces are well coated with the mixture. Cover and set aside for thirty minutes. Thread fish pieces and lemon wedges alternately onto skewers.

Step 3
