Slice onion and add with fenugreek seeds, turmeric powder, green chillies and half the curry leaves. Roughly chop the remaining curry leaves and add with salt and cinnamon stick and mix well. Add dried Maldives fish and mix well. Bring this to a boil. Add lemon juice and mix well. Pour the kiri hodi into a serving bowl and serve piping hot.
