Ingredients for Hot Chocolate Pudding Recipe

  • Dark Chocolate chopped 250 grams

  • Milk 1/2 cup

  • Cornflour/ corn starch 1 1/2 tablespoons

  • Milk 3/4 cup

  • Heavy Cream 1/2 cup

  • Salt a pinch

  • Unsalted butter 2 tablespoons

  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

  • FOR WHIPPED CREAM Heavy Cream 1/4 cup

  • Sugar 1/2 teaspoon

  • Orange zest grated 1/8 teaspoon


Step 1

To make orange flavoured whipped cream, beat together heavy cream, sugar and orange zest in a bowl until soft peaks are formed and refrigerate.

Step 2

For pudding, heat a saucepan, add sugar, cornflour, milk, cream and salt and whisk to mix well.

Step 3

Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens and bring it to a boil.

Step 4

Whisk the mixture until it becomes light and fluffy.

Serve immediately in individual bowls topped with a dollop of the orange cream.
