Preheat the oven at 150º C. Whisk condensed milk, sugar and butter together until smooth.
Add milk and mix well. Sift refined flour with baking soda and baking powder into a bowl.
Add this mixture gradually to the condensed milk mixture, beating well after each addition.
Add vanilla essence. Mix candied fruits with one tablespoon of refined flour and add to the cake mixture. Beat well until light and fluffy.
Grease the cake tin with butter and transfer the cake mixture into this tin.
Bake in the preheated oven for forty-forty five minutes.
Demould and keep it on a wire rack to cool. Serve sliced.
