Ingredients list for Egg cutlets

  • 4 Eggs, boiled
  • 4 Potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon Garam masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dry mango powder (amchur)
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, chopped
  • 2 Green chillies, chopped
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • to deep fry Oil

Method

  1. Mix potatoes, salt, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, coriander leaves, amchur powder and green chillies and mix well.
  2. Halve the eggs and cover with the potato mixture. Roll in breadcrumbs.Refrigerate for thirty minutes.
  3. Heat oil in kadai and deep fry the cutlets till golden brown in colour.
  4. Drain on an absorbent paper and serve hot with chilli/ tamarind sauce.
