By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Jul 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients For koftas, Eggs, Cuisine Hyderabadi Course Main Course-Egg Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Medium Others Non Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Egg Koftas For koftas 4 Eggs, boiled cut into 4 piece 1 cup Gram flour (besan) to taste Salt 1 medium Potato, boiled and mashed to deep fry Oil For gravy 1 medium Onion , chopped 2-3 cloves Garlic 1 inch piece Ginger 2 tablespoons Oil 1 medium Tomato, chopped 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1 tablespoon Coriander powder to taste Salt 3 teaspoons Fresh coriander leaves, chopped Method To make the koftas; take the gram flour in a bowl. Add salt and potato and mix well using sufficient water to make batter. Heat sufficient oil in a deep non-stick pan. Dip the egg pieces in the batter and deep fry until golden. Drain on absorbent paper and set aside. To make the gravy; grind together the onion, garlic and ginger into a smooth paste. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add the ground paste and saute until light brown. Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder and salt. Mix well and cook for a minute. Add koftas and one cup of water. Mix gently and cook for two minutes.
