Grind browned onions with ¼ cup water to a fine paste. Add bay leaf, cinnamon, green cardamoms, cloves and cumin seeds to the pan and sauté till fragrant. Add ginger-garlic-green chilli paste and browned onion paste and mix well. Swirl ½ cup water in jar in which browned onions were ground and add. Add paneer, coriander powder, cumin powder and garam masala powder and mix well.Add yogurt and mix well. Add coriander leaves, mint leaves and salt and mix. Add black peppercorns and mix well. Cook on low heat for 10-12 minutes. Serve hot.
