Corn Gappe With Juice

Corn was indigenous to America, but is now grown throughout the world. It is used as a vegetable, briefly boiled or roasted or eaten with butter. And it would also interest you to know that the favourite popcorn, made by popping the small corn kernels, is a wholesome cereal food and is easily digested. Ingredients for Corn Gappe With Juice Recipe

  • Sweet Corn 1/2 cup

  • Puris 20

  • Mixed Fruit Juice 1 bottle

  • Onion 3 medium

  • Green chilli 8

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Cumin powder roasted 2 teaspoons

  • Chaat masala 3 teaspoons

  • Fresh coriander leaves 1/2 cup

  • Mint leaves 1/4 cup

  • Black salt (kala namak) to taste

  • Lemon 2


Step 1

Chop onions and 4 green chillies.

Step 2

Heat oil in a non stick pan, add onion and green chillies and sauté till transluscent. Add sweet corn, salt and 1 tsp roasted cumin powder and sauté. Add 1 tsp chaat masala and mix well. Keep it warm.

Step 3

Grind coriander leaves, mint leaves, remaining roasted cumin powder, black salt, remaining green chillies, juice of 2 lemons, ¼ cup mixed fruit juice to a paste and transfer into a bowl.

Step 4

Add remaining juice and remaining chaat masala and mix well. Chill in the refrigerator.

Step 5

Halve the cherry tomatoes and place a half on each toast along with a basil leaf and keep the toasts back in the oven and grill till the mozzarella cheese begins to melt.
