  • King fish (surmai) cut into ½ inch thick slices
    600 grams
  • Ginger chopped
    2 inch piece
  • Garlic chopped
    8-10 cloves
  • Fish stock
    3 cups
  • Salt
    to taste
  • Black peppercorns crushed


Step 1

Take claypot with lid of appropriate size, wash and keep aside for drying. Combine ginger, garlic with fish stock in the claypot and cook, covered on Microwave HIGH (100%) for three minutes.

Step 2

Add salt, peppercorns, sugar, soy sauce, white wine, spring onions along with the greens and fish to the above mixture, cover and cook on Microwave HIGH (100%) for ten minutes. Let it stand for five minutes. Serve hot.
