Chocolate Cake

This chocolate cake is without eggs but with yogurt and walnuts.

  • Cocoa powder
    2 teaspoons
  • Refined flour (maida)
    1 cup
  • Baking powder
    a pinch
  • Castor sugar (caster sugar)
    1 1/2 cups
  • Yogurt
    1/2 cup
  • Milk
    1/2 cup
  • Oil
    1/2 cup
  • Walnuts roughly chopped


Step 1

Sift refined flour, cocoa powder, baking powder in a bowl.

Step 2

Beat castor sugar, curd, milk and oil until soft.

Step 3

Add refined flour mixture and mix with light hand.

Step 4

Pour this mixture in a microwave proof cake tin.

Step 5

Top with walnuts and bake on 100% power for six minutes.

Step 6

Demould, cut into slices and serve.
