By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 May 2016 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Bhavnagri green chillies, Mozzarella cheese Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Chilli Hoppers 16 small Bhavnagri green chillies 1 cup Mozzarella cheese grated 4-5 cloves Garlic chopped 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes 5-6 Black peppercorns crushed 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley chopped 3/4 cup Refined flour (maida) 1 cup Cornflour/ corn starch 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder to taste Salt to deep fry Oil Method Mix cheese, chopped garlic, crushed red chillies, crushed black peppercorns, chopped fresh parsley in a bowl. Slit the chillies and remove the seeds. Stuff them with the cheese mixture. Set aside. Mix refined flour, cornflour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Add sufficient water and whisk to make a smooth and thick batter. Rest the batter for ten minutes. Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan. Dip each stuffed chilli in the flour batter and deep-fry till crisp. They will not turn brown but remain white. Drain onto an absorbent paper and serve hot.
