When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Cook time : 16-20 minutes

Ingredients for Chicken in Sauce Recipe

  • Boneless chicken cut into 1 inch pieces 500 grams

  • Green cardamoms 4

  • Onion roughly chopped 3 medium

  • Cinnamon 1 inch piece

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Ginger paste 1 teaspoon

  • Onion paste 1 teaspoon

  • Green chillies split and lightly fried 3-4

  • Tomato sauce 1/2 cup

  • Salt to taste


Step 1

Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add onions, cinnamon, green cardamom, ginger paste and onion paste. Sauté for six to eight minutes. Add chicken, sauté for four to five minutes.

Step 2

Add green chillies, tomato sauce, salt and sauté till chicken is completely cooked.

Step 3

Serve hot with bread or parantha.
