Ingredients list for Chhenar Payesh
- 1 cup Chenna
- 1 litre Milk
- 15 Almonds blanched and peeled
- 20 Pistachios blanched and peeled
- 2-3 tablespoons Sugar
- a pinch Citric acid
Method
- Heat milk in a deep non-stick pan. Add chenna and mix well. Let it boil for 4-5 minutes on low heat. Add sugar and mix well.
- Keep aside a few pistachios for decoration and add the rest with almonds to the pan and mix well. Add citric acid and mix well.
- Remove the pan from heat and set aside to cool. Keep it in a refrigerator to chill. Serve chilled.
