Cabbage Soup

Super healthy, cabbage goes a long way back. In ancient times, the Greeks treated it as a special food for its many medicinal properties. Ingredients for Cabbage Soup

  • Cabbage diced 1 medium

  • Onion diced 2 medium

  • Tomato diced 4 medium

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper powder to taste

  • Green capsicum diced 1 medium

  • Lemon juice 4 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Heat a deep non stick pan.

Step 2

Add onions and roast for a minute. Add cabbage and salt and stir. Add four cups of water, cover and cook for two to three minutes.

Step 3

Add tomatoes and pepper powder and stir. Continue to cook for further two to three minutes. Add the capsicums, cover and cook for seven to eight minutes. Add lemon juice and mix. Take the pan off the heat.

Step 4

Serve piping hot.
