Ingredients
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 6 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 cup castor sugar (caster sugar)
- 1/2 cup golden syrup
- 2/3 cup fresh cream
Method
- Melt butter in a heavy pan, add brown sugar, castor sugar and golden syrup. Cook gently, stirring continuously, for three to four minutes over low heat.
- Remove from heat and gradually add cream. Serve warm or cold.
