A welcome change from the usual aloo gobhi and paneer ki sabzi this recipe uses broccoli and tofu as main ingredients. Bean curd or tofu is a great source of vegetarian protein and broccoli has plenty of vitamins, minerals and nutrients plus the sabzi is cooked in minimal oil. Have this healthy sabzi along with phulkas for a nutritious meal.

Ingredients for Broccoli, Aloo And Tofu Ki Sabzi Recipe

  • Broccoli 10-12 florets

  • Tofu cut into small cubes 100 grams

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

  • Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon

  • Coriander seeds crushed 1 teaspoon

  • Onions sliced 2 medium

  • Garlic sliced 2-3

  • Ginger cut into thin strips 1 inch

  • Salt to taste

  • Green chilli sliced diagonally 1

  • Tomato sliced 1

  • Potatoes boiled and cut into small cubes 2 medium

Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and sauté.

Step 2

Add coriander seeds and continue to sauté till fragrant. Add onions and continue to sauté. Add garlic and ginger and sauté till lightly browned. Add broccoli and salt and stir.

Step 3

Sprinkle a little water, cover and cook. Add green chilli and cook till the broccoli is slightly cooked. Add tofu (beancurd) cubes and toss. Add potatoes and toss everything well. Add tomato and toss.

Step 4

Cook for a minute or two and serve hot.
