Bread Dosa Bread and rawa mixed with yogurt, ginger, onion and green chilli make a delicious dosa. This recipe has featured on the show Khanakhazana. By Sanjeev Kapoor 28 Apr 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients White bread slices, Semolina (rawa/suji) Cuisine Kerala Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Bread Dosa 10 slices White bread slices 1/2 cup Semolina (rawa/suji) 1 teaspoon Rice flour to taste Salt 2 teaspoon Yogurt whisked 2 tablespo Oil 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds 2 teaspoons Split black gram skinless (dhuli urad dal) 2-3 Curry leaves chopped 1/2 inch piece Ginger chopped 1-2 Green chillies chopped 1 medium Onion chopped Method Trim the edges of the bread slices. Soak the slices in sufficient water for two to three minutes. Take semolina, rice flour, salt and add sufficient water to make a thin batter. Squeeze out excess water from the soaked bread and lightly crumble with hand. Add it to the batter along with whisked yogurt. Put the mixture in a mixer and blend. Transfer to a clean bowl and adjust the consistency. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, dhuli urad dal, curry leaves, chopped ginger, green chillies, onion and sauté till onions are lightly browned. Set aside to cool. Heat a dosa tawa. Put some oil on it and wipe with a clean wet cloth. Add the tempering to the batter and mix well. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the hot tawa and spread. Pour a little oil on top and sides and cook for two to three minutes. Turn and cook the other side similarly. Prepare the other dosas similarly.
