By Sanjeev Kapoor 10 Aug 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Bread slices, Potatoes Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Bread Croquettes 8 Bread slices 2 medium Potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed 1/4 Carrot shredded 1 teaspoon Ginger finely chopped 1/4 cup Cabbage finely chopped 1/4 cup Green capsicum finely chopped 1/4 cup Spinach finely chopped 1 small Onion finely chopped 1/4 cup Green peas boiled and mashed 2-3 teaspoons Rice flour 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Chaat masala for deep-frying Oil Method Trim edges of the bread slices and put the slices in a bowl. Sprinkle one to two tablespoons of water and mash well. Add potatoes, carrot, ginger, cabbage, capsicum, spinach, onion, green peas, rice flour, red chilli powder, cumin powder, salt and chaat masala and mix well. Divide the mixture into sixteen equal portions and shape them into long croquettes. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, slide in the croquettes and deep-fry croquettes on medium heat till golden. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot.
