Ingredients 

  • 2 American corn cobs (bhutta)        
  • Salt to taste    
  • 2 tablespoons butter            
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice        
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes        
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder        
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar

Method

  1. Peel off the skin of the corn cobs. Keep the cobs on individual twelve-inch by twelve-inch square pieces of aluminium foil.
  2. Either sprinkle salt, smear butter and lemon juice or sprinkle salt, red chilli flakes, red chilli powder, brown sugar and smear butter and lemon juice.
  3. Wrap the aluminium foil pieces around the cobs and twist the ends like a toffee.
  4. Place the cobs on live charcoal on a barbecue and cook for fifteen minutes. Open the foil and serve hot.
