Banana Puri Recipe - How to make Banana Puri


Prep Time : 16-20 minutes

  • Bananas 3

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 3/4 cups

  • Whole wheat flour (atta) 1/4 cup

  • Sugar 1 teaspoon

  • Salt a pinch

  • Butter 2 tablespoons

  • Oil for deep-frying


Step 1

Mash bananas. Add refined flour, wheat flour, sugar, salt and butter. Mix well together. Add a little water and knead into a stiff dough.

Step 2

Divide into ten to twelve balls. Roll out into small dics of half centimeter thickness. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.

Step 3

Fry puris, one by one, till golden brown. Drain and remove onto an absorbent paper.
