Instant Dosa

Ingredients

·         1½ cups semolina

·         2 tbsps whole wheat flour

·         1 tbsp gram flour (besan)

·         1 tsp sugar

·         Salt to taste

·         3 cups buttermilk

·         Ghee for cooking

·         Coconut chutney for serving

Method

1.      Put semolina, whole wheat flour, gram flour and sugar into a grinder jar and grind coarsely.

2.      Transfer into a bowl and add salt and buttermilk and mix till well blended. Set aside for 5-10 minutes.

3.      Heat a non-stick tawa. Pour a ladleful of the batter and spread it in a clockwise motion to make as thin a disc as possible. Drizzle ghee along the sides and cook for 2 minutes. Fold in half and place on a serving plate.

4.      Serve hot with coconut chutney.
