  • Mutton chops
    700 grams
  • Oil
    1/4 cup
  • Salt
    to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped
    1/4 cup
  • For masala
  • Cloves
  • Cinnamon
    2 inch stick
  • Lemon juice
    1 tablespoon
  • Green chillies roughly chopped
  • Garlic roughly chopped
    6 cloves
  • Ginger roughly chopped
    1 1/2 inch piece
  • Black peppercorns
    1 teaspoon
  • Fresh coriander leaves roughly chopped
    1/2 cup
  • Turmeric powder
    1/2 teaspoon


Step 1

Grind all the masala ingredients until smooth and marinade the mutton chops with this for an hour in the refrigerator.

Step 2

Heat oil in pressure cooker, add mutton chops and salt and cook for five minutes.

Step 3

Add six cups of water and pressure cook for eight whistles on medium heat or till done

Step 4

Take it off the heat and garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
