Ingredients list for Wholemeal Bread

  • 425 grams Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Wheat Bran
  • 275 millilitres Buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Oil

Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C.
  2. In a bowl combine together whole wheat flour, gluten, whaet bran, butter milk, baking soda, brown sugar, salt, oil and sufficient water and knead a soft dough.
    Put the dough in a greased mould and bake for twenty minutes.
