Wholemeal Bread Recipe - How to make Wholemeal Bread

  • Whole wheat flour (atta) 425 grams

  • Wheat bran 1 tablespoon

  • Buttermilk 275 millilitres

  • Baking soda 1 teaspoon

  • Brown sugar 1 teaspoon

  • Salt 1 teaspoon

  • Oil 2 tablespoons


Step 1

Pre-heat the oven to 180°C.

Step 2

In a bowl combine together whole wheat flour, gluten, whaet bran, butter milk, baking soda, brown sugar, salt, oil and sufficient water and knead a soft dough. Put the dough in a greased mould and bake for twenty minutes.
