Ingredients list for Tomato Sabzi Pulao
- 3/4 cup Basmati Rice
- 2 Tomatoes
- 8-10 French beans
- 5-6 florets Cauliflower
- 1/2 cup Fresh green peas
- 2 tablespoons Ghee
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 2 Black cardamoms
- 1 inch stick Cinnamon
- 3-4 Cloves
- to taste Salt
Method
- Wash and soak the rice in sufficient water for half an hour. Drain and keep aside.
- Wash, peel and chop tomatoes. Wash, string and chop French beans into long pieces.
- Wash and drain cauliflower and peas. Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, black cardamoms, cinnamon and cloves.
- Once they crackle, add chopped tomatoes, peas, cauliflower, beans and salt.
- Add rice to the vegetables. Add one and a half cups of water, cover and cook till done. Serve with yogurt.
